Rex is a local boy born in Woopi, and grew up here just as his father did. The Newman family came to the Woolgoolga area in the late 1920’s, establish
ing a banana plantation at the top of what is now known as Newman Rd.
Rex knows Woolgoolga like the back of his hand, he remembers fishing off Woolgoolga Jetty and surfing in between the jetty piers when he was younger.
He has surfed at all the beaches in the area, most of the beaches up and down the coast and many over seas, but he always came home to this piece of paradise he loves.
A family man with three grown children; Rex worked the land for many years to make a living and still lives on a 300-acre property, west of Woolgoolga.
Rex has worked in real estate for a number of years, undertaking studies to open his own real estate and offer the type of down to earth personal service he believes people deserve.
Rex handles most of the sales within the agency.
